Having first appeared in a TV movie directed by her father, Gwyneth has been acting since 1989. As she continued to make movies, Gwyneth started to get mixed reactions for her roles. She had difficulty topping her performance in Shakespeare in Love and, as a result, saw her popularity falling and rising.
