    Healthy Eating Tips

    Sofia tells that one of her favorite healthy snacks is avocado. Avocado is a great healthy snack because so many delicious variations of avocado can be created easily, such as avocado toast, avocado salad and even avocado smoothies yum! In addition to being delicious avocado is one of the most nutritious fruits (yes it is a fruit not a vegetable) because it contains numerous vitamins and healthy fats.Its no wonder that numerous celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian and model Alexis Ren swear by it!


    Avocado Smoothie Recipe (Ingredients)

    • 3 ripe bananas
    • 2 cups coconut water
    • 1/2 avocado, mashed
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 12 ice cubes
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Dash of salt
    • Banana slices and crushed almonds for topping (optional)


    1. In a blender, combine bananas and coconut water. Puree gently until smooth.
    2. Add the following 6 ingredients, and continue to blend until smooth.
    3. Serve in frozen mug or glass. Top with banana and crushed nuts, if desired.

    Sofia also shares that she loves green juices with ginger. "Juicing" is a major trend that is seen everywhere now. People prefer juicing because it is a quick way to get the recommended amount of vegetable servings while enjoying the delicious taste. Green juices specifically aid digestion and contain tons vitamins.

    Favorite Healthy Snacking Foods

    Another one of Sofia's favorite snacks is almonds. Almonds are a great snack to eat on the go, just put a few in a zip-lock back and snack on them throughout the day.

    Baked salmon is another healthy meal that is on Sofia's list of healthy go-to's. Salmon is rich in vitamins, proteins, and healthy fats. The Omega 3 fatty acid found in salmon can have many benefits on your heart, eyes, and even your brain. Eat it as your entree, put in on a cracker with cream cheese, or toss it in a salad, Salmon is a delicious and nutrient abundant food.

    Even though Sofia is a healthy eater and eats nutritious foods, she shared that like any other person, she does have cheat days where she indulges in some of her favorite foods such as fries, sushi, burritos, and Kung Pao chicken. Although she frequently hits the gym,Sofia tells that she loves to cuddle up to a good Netflix show with her dog. A healthy lifestyle is a happy medium between indulging in your favorite foods, having a lazy day and fueling up with nutritious meals, hitting the gym. Sofia Jamora's fitness routine shows eating healthy can be delicious and  that while it's important to workout and eat well, everyone can enjoy a cheat day in moderation.

  • Delicious Yet Healthy Smoothie Recipe

    Whomever said eating healthy was time consuming and difficult obviously didn't know about smoothie bowls! This quick and easy breakfast/lunch bowl will fill you up and help you get through the day without that yucky bloated full feeling. Feel free to mix in some of your favorite fruits to spice up this delicious creation!


    Bikini Cleanse Smoothie Recipe


    Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipe

    Prep Time: 5 minutes

    All Ingredients needed to make three bowls of delicious goodness:

    2 handfuls of Spinach
    2 frozen Bananas
    2 individual cups of Yogurt
    1 cup frozen mixed Fruit
    1 Kiwi
    3 Large Strawberries
    Handful of Raspberries
    Handful of Granola
    Handful of Coconut Shavings


    The Low Down

    1.) Blend these ingredients together until you achieve your desired consistency. You can add more milk if it turns out too thick, but remember you cannot remove the milk if you add too much and it's too runny!

    • 2 handfuls of Spinach
    • 2 frozen Bananas
    • 2 individual cups of Yogurt
    • 1 cup frozen mixed Fruit
    • Milk

    2.) Pour into bowls (should make enough for three portions)

    3.) Chop the following fruits and arrange neatly across the top of your bowl.

    • 1 Kiwi
    • 3 Large Strawberries
    • Handful of Raspberries

    4.) Add additional toppings

    • Handful of Granola
    • Handful of Coconut Shavings





  • A Healthy Mid Day Snack


    I am a blogger by night, but a corporate junkie by day which means most of my days are spent sitting at a desk staring at a computer screen. That means I am also constantly snacking from boredom/sitting too long. Although I love a good bag of potato chips, I also still want to fit in my jeans- so I am constantly looking for healthy alternatives. These roasted chick peas are perfect! Just the right amount of salt and crunch- I almost can convince myself it's my favorite bag of Lays! Plus, these are really delicious, so I don't even feel deprived from junk food that's bad for me! Win win! Oh and did I mention how easy they are to make? Just a few short steps below!

    1. All you have to do is rinse/drain the Chick Peas (I recommend allowing them to drain for 30 minutes or more). 
    2. Next, toss in ingredients. 
    3. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes at 400 degrees until crunchy
    4. Store in air tight container and enjoy!

    Soy and Sesame
    1. Soy sauce
    2. Sesame seeds
    3. A dash of Worcestershire 

    Rosemary and Garlic
    1. Fresh Rosemary
    2. Minced Garlic
    3. Parm Cheese
