Exclusive Q & A with fitness model Lauren Sieckmann
We have been obsessing over Fitness beast Lauren Sieckmann for quite some time. Her story is so inspirational, and we want to get to know her just a tad bit more. Check out the exclusive interview we did with her!
What are your favorite and least favorite workouts?
My favorite workouts are things that work the whole body and I wake up with sore muscles that I never knew existed! I love to run stairs, it’s a good HIIT style workout so not only does it get your cardio in but it works your legs and your abs.
I always tell people that walking or running stairs is the secret behind great toned legs. I love working my butt and legs and I’ve recently been working on different type of lunges and squats that work different muscles you can’t hit with regular squats and lunges. “Curtsey Lunges” are one of my favorites I’ve been incorporating into my routine!
My least favorite workouts are anything that involve long distance cardio. I can run stair sprints but you won’t catch me dead running on a treadmill or jogging outside!
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
Australia! They are so health oriented and have such amazing food and restaurants! And of course, the beaches ☺
What are your hobbies?
I’m really into reading psychology books, either on sports or more broad topics about the psychology around success.
What is your favorite quote?

What's in your purse?
- Tarte lip stain
- Coach clutch wallet
- Coconut butter lip balm
- Gold aviators
- A bunch of 2 dollar checks that I get from a company for having a share since I was born
- Snacks! Vegan protein bars, almonds and walnuts.
What are your must have beach products? Spfs?
- I love Coola spray sunscreen, especially the pina colada scent
- Tinted sunscreen moisturizer
- Aviators for fun, Oakley’s for when I’m playing beach volleyball!
- Antioxidant face mist to keep me cool!
- Baseball caps
What do you typically eat for breakfast?
My nutrition is based around what types of foods will help your body burn fat and utilize energy when it’s supposed to! I’ve been in a routine for a couple years now where I have a cup of coffee blended with a tablespoon of coconut oil and ghee (or kerrygold butter) and I add a couple drops of chocolate raspberry stevia for a little sugar-free flavor!
That’s the only thing I have for breakfast but the healthy fats keep my body full and burning fat for hours!
