She might be a big-time fitness influencer with an impressive client list now, but she has a much more humble background. According to her Wiki and Famous Birthdays pages, she studied human kinetics at a school in her native Canada and came from a single-parent home. In her bio, she talks about growing up in public housing, and how exercise was a way to keep her focus.
That appears to have worked because her bio also credits her with having earned 18 different fitness and nutrition certifications.
Jeanette Jenkins Workout Plan
All that studying and hard work eventually led her to a big-time fitness career. She’s appeared on television and works with an impressive roster of celebrity clients. These include Pink, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Rowland. She’s even worked with athletes like gymnast Shawn Johnson, football player Bryant McKinnie, and more.
With such a roster, she’s obviously in-demand as an expert. People.com did a feature on her work with Pink following the birth of the singer’s second child, while Essence did a piece with her about achieving one’s fitness goals. POPSUGAR Fitness also did a YouTube video with her on how to burn 600 calories in just one hour of working out.
The Hollywood Trainer
Thanks to her various projects and social media accounts/blog, you don’t have to have a Hollywood budget to benefit from her almost three decades in the fitness business. She has a bunch of different workout videos listed on Amazon, one of which she partnered with former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland.
If you’re looking for something a little different, she also has a book out. The Hollywood Trainer Weight-Loss Plan: 21 Days to Make Healthy Living a Lifetime Habit breaks down some diet and fitness secrets. The book, according to its Amazon listing, includes a series of tests for readers to determine where they currently are, health-wise and emotionally. Feeling good and being healthy is a message she’s stressed many times overreaching a certain number on a scale, something that should always be the top priority.
