Where do you live? Based in Los Angeles
How old are you? 30
Tell us a little about yourself? I'm a former international model turned wellness expert. I'm the creator of The 5-Day Detox, a #1 app and best-selling book which was a revolutionary way to detox your body and lose weight. My second book, Meal Prep Your Way to Weight Loss, comes out May 2018 which I couldn't be more excited for! I also do health coaching and work with business to grow their social media and communities.
What’s the first thing you do in the morning? I drink 1 large glass of water before I get out of bed. This helps to wake me up and kick start my digestive system, plus rehydrates the body and sleeping. If I'm not rushed I'll make coffee, sit in my little meditation corner I created and journal and/or meditate. I try to do this more often than not, but I am human after all and sometimes life gets the best of me. Water always happens though!
What's your favorite breakfast meal recipe? This insanely good paleo bread recipe and cinnamon maple almond butter with berries I created. It's in my new book, which I am so excited for. This is one of my go-to's every day!
You’re gorgeous, what does your beauty routine look like? Awe thank you! Water, lots of it! I tend to focus on inside out, because I am a firm believer that when your body is healthy from what you eat, how much water you get, sleep, etc. then you tend to radiate naturally and can minimize products. So my beauty routine is lots of greens each day, water (2L), 7+ hours of sleep every night. Then I go pretty minimal on makeup and use organic stuff as often as possible.
If you had to wear the same outfit for the rest of your life - what would it be? Black skinny jeans, a black long sleeve cashmere top, and black booties. It was my modeling uniform and I love it still to this day because you can wear it anywhere.
We want to know, what’s in your beauty bag? True Botanicals everything for face, cleanser, serum, etc. Alima powder foundation, Ilia blush, and whatever random concealer and mascara I have on hand. I'm pretty minimal with makeup, although in another life I'd love to be one of the beauty bloggers who creates these beautiful makeup looks every day!
What is your top hack for following a healthy diet? Count colors at meals. It truly is more simple than people think! Stop worrying about calories, what you're eating, and all the things that stress you out. When you're preparing breakfast, or ordering a salad, try to get 3+ colors on your plate. Some examples: Green = spinach, cucumber, edamame Red = tomatoes, strawberries Orange: bell peppers, carrots, sweet potato. By adding multiple colors your brain naturally becomes more satisfied and your body gets the fuel you need through various nutrients, meaning you will stop craving bad things without even thinking about it!
If you could travel anywhere in the world - where would it be? I pretty much do this every few months! I call myself a professional traveler because I love travel so much (fun fact: I've lived in 7 countries), but that being said, next on my list is India, Japan, and Morocco.
What’s your favorite thing to do in your down time? Travel!
They say you are what you eat, what are you? Vegetables. Oh maybe an avocado. and a glass of red wine. haha!
What are your favorite looks from Bikini Luxe?
Avies One Piece, Ally Tropical Print Swimsuit and the Black Siren Jumpsuit.
Where do you get your sense of style from? I try to find things that compliment my body and stay away from trends. Rosie Huntington Whitley and Victoria Beckham are ladies I'd love to raid their wardrobes.
What inspired you to start your own blog? Getting myself healthy and sharing what I learned (although I have had many in my day from a day in the life of a model, to food blogging on tumblr, to a photography one).
Tell us about your dream collab, who is it and why? Oprah. I'm not sure if it's a collab as much as I am in awe of what she's created, she's my biggest inspiration, and I would adore working with her. Oh, and Beyonce.
How do you keep yourself motivated throughout the week and any tips for those busy gals? Take it day by day. I know setting goals longterm can be effective, but I also realize that we get caught up in busy lives and so I think it's more important to focus on today! I have a little trick that I put a calendar on my fridge and each day I eat healthy I give myself a smiley face. If I don't eat as well, it's an unhappy face. It's an immediate reward system and helps me to keep on track after seeing multiple days in a row of happy faces. I do this with clients and it helps more than you'd think!
What are the best ways to detox the body after the holidays? Count colors! And don't stress. Take it one step at a time and realize that we all (yes ALL of us!) go through the same thing during the holidays. Putting extra pressure on yourself typically backfires. Do my detox starting January 1, it's only 5 days!, and get extra sleep which helps reverse a lot of negative effects.

What meals do you recommend for busy boss babes on-the-go? Meal prepping will be key, which I share all my secrets in my new book. Salad, lots of vegetables, and stir fries are all great. Try to eat foods that come from the earth and not things that come in boxes, or with plastic on them.
Girls worldwide want to do what you’re doing, do you have any advice for them? Instafame is not something people should be trying to achieve, rather really think about what you are trying to do, promote, or sell and WHY. If you're doing it because you want that 15-minutes as you see people getting from Insta, realize that it won't last. Create something that truly will affect other people and put your passion behind it.
What was your favorite part of your trip to Kenya? Meeting such incredible people and seeing how happy they are with far less than we have in the west.
What’s next for you? My book is being published in May and keeping up with the coaching that I do and love!
