Some people seem to be blessed by the universe, or whatever you want to call it. Model Christopher Mason seems to be one of those lucky types. In the decade he’s been in the business, he’s gotten some pretty sweet jobs, and some of his biggest have come in the past few years. If you think you haven’t been introduced to this social media star, you might need to think again! Read on to learn a little more about him and where you’ve most likely seen him.
Christopher Mason Model
Let’s start by getting a few basics about Christopher in. First off, the 6’0 model is represented by the iconic Wilhelmina agency. He got his start in modeling after being approached to work at an Abercrombie store. They did a casting call amongst their employees and the rest fell into place from there.
The blonde model also has a little girl that he shows off online and is also getting her start in the industry. He mentioned in a fashionweekdaily.com interview that they did a campaign for the Honest company together. Besides that, he’s not really named Christopher Mason. He happens to share a name with a certain famous (and controversial) R&B artist.
One of the more interesting details from that interview was finding out that modeling is not his only talent (or vocation). He’s also a talented designer who occasionally builds furniture for clients. He even had a store once before the modeling life got crazy. You can read more about that if you google the interview. He’s also an actor, but that’s something that hasn’t taken off just yet.
Christopher has done campaigns for his former employer during his retail days, as well as big brand American Eagle. He’s also modeled Sauvage Swimwear, including their Burst t-shirt. That one was a fun summer-style campaign that featured Chris hanging out on the beach.
But the biggest breaks of his career has been as a video guy, being featured in clips for Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. The latter was for her “Hands to Myself”. He credits that with earning him a huge boost in social reach, and it landed him all over the internet. Sites like Hollywood Life and E! wanted to know who the mystery model Selena showed off on her Instagram was.
The best place to conned with Christopher is on Instagram. There, he goes by @christopherMason and he’s got nearly 500 thousand followers. He mentioned in his fashion week daily interview that he isn’t much of a selfie guy, so his feed is filled with pics of his ad campaigns, shots of his daughter, food pics, and more that give one a glimpse into the person behind the user name.
He also uses his profile for good, pimping out a campaign by a friend that was dedicated to raising awareness of eating disorders.
If you are still looking for more, you can follow Chris on Twitter. His handle is @Chrstphr_Msn and he has over two thousand followers there.
