Meet Girl Boss Chiara Ferragni
Chiara Ferragni is an Italian fashion designer and blogger who has gained fame all over the world. She has been blogging since 2009 and two years later was named Teen Vogue’s Blogger of the Moment. At that time she was already working as a fashion designer and putting herself through law school, which she later left to pursue fashion and blogging full time once she amassed a total of over one million readers. She later went on to win several awards for blogger of the year in 2013.
Due to the success of her blog, Chiara had 1.6 million Instagram followers by the end of the 2013, and one year later that number had risen to 2.9 million Instagram followers.

As a fashion designer, Chiara has worked with huge names in the industry such as Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Max Mara. She has also worked closely with Seven for all Mankind. Her influence in the fashion industry led to a stint as a guest judge on the thirteenth season of Project Runway, in 2014. Later that year, she was awarded her fifth consecutive Bloglovin’ Award. The next year she went on to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award as well.
Chiara Ferragni's Golden Year
By 2015 Forbes had taken notice of Chiara and named her as one of their highlighted people on the “30 Under 30” list. The same year she went on to pose for the cover of Vogue Magazine for the first time and has appeared on the cover three additional times since. In total she has appeared on the cover of more than 50 magazines.
The same year, Chiara’s self -named line of women’s shoes was used by professors at Harvard University in the teaching of a class designed for business majors. One of the reasons for this may be that in 2014 alone, Chiara’s gross was roughly $8 million. Since then she has become a global ambassador for Pantene’s Amazon Fashion campaign.
