British fashion designer and writer Alexa Chung has accomplished a lot in her 34 years. She has already succeeded in several industries and continues to make her mark in the world of fashion.
Alexa Chung Style
Alexa was first discovered when she was just 16 years old. She was attending a local reading festival, where she had a chance encounter with a talent agent. Alexa then went on to work as a teenage model and appeared in CosmoGirl and Elle Girl. She was also involved with brands such as Tampax, Fanta, and Urban Outfitters.
After working as a model for four years, Alexa had aspirations to move on to fashion journalism. She did this because her short modeling career gave her low self-esteem and gave her a distorted image of her own body. Three years later, Alexa stepped back into modeling on a part-time basis. She became the face of brands such as Antipodium, a fashion label based in Australia.
Working runways for major designers, Alexa was discovered and signed by Select Model Management in London. She later signed with NEXT Model Management, which led to her representing the DKNY brand in ads. She also modeled for Pepe Jeans in a campaign created for London audiences.
In 2012, Alexa first attended the London Fashion Week. She walked the runway for Stella McCartney and was seen onstage as a magician's assistant. She later went on to model for Tommy Hilfiger; she also acted as a guest editor for the brand's collection released for the Fall of 2014. Before and after working for Tommy Hilfiger, Alexa represented the Longchamp brand, which she starred in four ad campaigns for. Alexa topped off her modeling career by winning the British Style Award, presented by the British Fashion Council. She won this award every year from 2011 to 2013.

For one year Alexa wrote a column that regularly appeared in Company, a magazine designed for British women. The following year she contributed to The Independent, a British newspaper. Alexa went on to become a contributing editor for the British version of Vogue Magazine. She also wrote and released a book called It.
